Thermofrost's MD named Boss of the year

PHILIP Sloper, md of Thermofrost Cryo has been named Boss of the Year by Executive PA magazine.
Thermofrost
He was nominated by his PA Vicky Summers, who recommended Sloper for his efforts since taking over from his predecessor Andrew Barwick three years ago.

The award, which included a trophy and a helicopter flight for two over London, was presented at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel in London in October.

'It is hard to fill another person's place, but Philip has not only taken over as managing director in name, he has made various changes where he felt necessary and these decisions have earned him the respect and loyalty of the staff - which in itself is no easy task'

Thermofrost has 50 employees in the UK with a head Office in London and branches in Birmingham and Manchester. Philip decided to celebrate the firm's 35th anniversary by treating all staff and their families with a day out at Warwick Castle on June 30.

Philip also gives the staff yearly benefits, including a 'staff motivation' weekend in Cornwall, a Christmas party weekend in a top hotel, profit-related and loyalty bonuses, life insurance, BUPA, and a yearly inflation rise to name just some of the benefits working with Thermofrost Cryo.

'During these three years he has increased sales and profit, encouraged and motivated staff and helped make the working environment enjoyable and a pleasure to come to work'.
