The leading event for the industry returns to the capital

Cool Designs LtdTF SolutionsVoting for the Customer Service Award closes on Sunday 31st January and the winner will be revealed on the night. ACR News editor Lynn Sencicle comments: “The Customer Service Award is very different from any other award in the ACR industry, in that it celebrates ordinary people. Not up and coming trainees or lifetime achievers – both very important and already well recognised – but people of all levels within the industry. People who perhaps give that little bit extra, or help to promote a company’s good reputation by their attitude and general service, no matter who their customers are. These are people who may otherwise be unrecognised except by the customers who deal with them every day.”

Companies advised to book now for next month’s ACR News Awards, hosted by top TV comedian Jimmy Carr

The ACR News Awards takes place in less than four weeks on Thursday 26th February - at The Brewery, London - a stunning venue which is conveniently located in the City, near Old Street and the creative hub of Shoreditch.

The leading event for the air conditioning and refrigeration industry, the ACR News Awards celebrates excellence. It is also known for its ‘fun factor’, with top comedians presenting the awards ceremony year after year. The 2015 event will be no different, with Jimmy Carr, Channel 4's ‘face of comedy and one of the most distinctive talents on television’ as host for the evening.

All experts in their field, the judges met on Wednesday 3rd December to decide on the shortlist. The session was chaired by Lynn Sencicle editor of ACR News and included Ewen Rose of McGowen Rose Associates; Barry Lyons of ACRIB (Air Conditioning Refrigeration Industry Board); Terry Seward of FETA (Federation of Environmental Trade Associations); Dr Ed Hammond of ECH Engineering; Graeme Fox of AREA (Air Conditioning & Refrigeration European contractors Association); and Roger Borer of the IoR (Institute of Refrigeration)
