The IOR celebrates WRD with #rachpheroes campaign

The acr industry has been working hard to keep essential services running in vital sectors including supermarkets and hospitals and to help in their local community in recent months, and the Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) has launched a campaign to recognise individuals who have gone beyond the call of duty.

The campaign, which will run on Twitter and Facebook, invites you to post stories about workers who have worked tirelessly, gone beyond the call of duty as part of their work or taken part in voluntary community activities. Anyone with a connection to a refrigeration, air conditioning or heat pump business can be nominated – just share their hero story with a picture or video using the hashtag #rachpheroes and #wrefd20

Miriam Rodway  chief executive for the IOR commented: “So many in our sector have worked incredibly hard over the last few weeks and we believe they deserve more recognition.  The IOR also wants to make sure that on this World Refrigeration Day we can all do something to celebrate the different kinds of contribution that people make every day in our industry to our society by nominating your #rachpheroes.”
