The Co-operative Group has appointed Ian Ellis as group chief financial officer.
Mr Ellis is currently chief financial officer of Wilko, the privately owned variety retailer. He was previously head of finance at Wm Morrisons Supermarkets and has also worked for Northern Foods in a number of senior finance roles.
