THE highly successful ACR News Awards are coming to London. The 2011 event will now take place on Thursday March 31 at Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea FC. In a further change to tradition, the event will now take place at lunchtime.

Having been held in Birmingham during the RAC Show since 1997, the change of venue has been prompted by Emap's recent decision to postpone RAC2011.
'The ACR News Awards have been a major feature of the RAC show for many years,' said Jan Thorpe, publisher of ACR News, 'but the postponement of the March RAC show forced us to reconsider our options.
'In the circumstances, and mindful of the success of events like the FETA lunch, we have chosen to move the next event to London.
'This purely relates to the next ACR News Awards,' said Jan Thorpe. 'Watch this space for further exciting news about future ACR News Awards events.'
Sponsored by some of the leading names in the industry, including Hawco, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Space Air, the ACR News Awards has become the major event in the industry calendar.
'I am convinced that the new location and its proximity to the West End of London will make the ACR Awards 2011 the best ever,' commented ACR News editor Neil Everitt.'
Now open for entries
With the announcement of the new venue, the awards are now open for entries.

Tickets
Single tickets are priced at £150+vat or £1,400+vat for a table of 10. A half table of five tickets is available for £800+vat. These are early bird rates which will apply up until December 31 2010.
