Ted Berry leaves Haier

TED Berry, md of Haier UK, the UK air conditioning arm of the Chinese white goods manufacturer, has left the company. General manager Norman Murphy is reported to be currently in charge of the day-to-day running of the business.
Best known for establishing Toshiba air conditioning in the UK, Ted Berry subsequently formed New Century (Haier) Air Conditioning Ltd in 2001, the forerunner to Haier UK.

At the beginning of this year Haier UK handed over distribution of its packaged products to Dean & Wood, leaving Haier UK to concentrate on plans to launch its applied products in the UK.
