We require a self-motivated person to promote the concept of Evac vacuum drainage systems to the UK supermarket industry via building engineers, architects, design and build contractors and the supermarket chains directly, as a genuine alternative to gravity drainage.
This person must be capable of generating their own leads and contacts within the supermarket construction industry, preferably with previous experience of selling into the major supermarket chains.
This role is for the complete all-rounder, with a building engineering background, knowledge of pumps, fluid movement and drainage.
On top of these qualities you should have a good command of computer systems such as Auto Cad, Word, Excel, and an excellent customer service focus.
Your base will be in our Chatham office, but this position will take you all over the UK, so you must be prepared to travel and be away from home overnight on occasions. We would expect you to be out of the office on sales calls three days a week.
We offer a competitive salary that is dependent on experience and qualifications, in addition to an annual bonus plus a company car or travel allowance.
Whilst the main role will focus on sales and marketing you will also be expected to complete the follow duties:
- Prepare layout drawings
- Prepare project quotations
- Support sub-contractors in the field
- Liaise with sub-contractors regarding technical issues
- Assist with technical telephone calls.
