Systemair buys Slovenia's Energoplus

THE ac and ventilation firm Systemair has agreed to buy Energoplus, effective from May 1.

Energoplus is a market leader in Slovenia in air conditioning and ventilation products.

Founded in 1990, Energoplus has an annual turnover of more than 100 million SEK (just under £8 million.)

'Energoplus has a strong position in Slovenia and through this acquisition we will have good opportunities to increase the sale of Systemair's products', said Gerald Engström, CEO for Systemair.

Energoplus will change its name to Systemair Energoplus.

Systemair had sales of SEK 3.1 billion in the 2007/08 financial year and currently employs about 1,950 people. Since it was founded in 1974, the Systemair Group has grown to be comprised of 50 companies.
