Systemair buys Carrier Holland Heating

SWEDEN: Swedish ventilation company Systemair has acquired Dutch air handling unit manufacturer Holland Heating from Carrier.
Founded in 1955, Holland Heating has a 25,000m2 production facility and headquarters in Waalwijk. The company has been owned by Carrier since 1997 and reported a turnover of Euro32.5m last year.

'We are very pleased to acquire a company with such a long history and strong product portfolio,' commented Systemair's president and ceo Gerald Engström. 'This ensures that Systemair will become the market leader in the manufacture and supply of air handling units in the Netherlands and will strengthen our position in Europe,' he added.

Founded in 1974, Systemair has operations in 44 countries in Europe, North- and South America, the Middle East, Asia and South Africa. The Company boasts sales of SEK4bn and currently employs about 3,400 people.
