SWEP lands market leadership award

SWEDISH company SWEP, a specialist in supplying heat exchangers to the air conditioning and refrigeration industry, has won the Frost & Sullivan Europe Market Share Leadership Award for 2010 by capturing nearly 40% of the brazed plate heat exchanger market.
Frost & Sullivan commended SWEP for the development of its products, particularly the use of new materials like stainless steel which has increased product resistance to corrosion, while boosting reliability and cost-effectiveness.

SWEP introduced eight new products last year and is actively trying to convert the technology used in air conditioning shell and tube heat exchangers for use in brazed plate heat exchangers.
