Swegon names new HR and SHEQ director

Ms Young has extensive experience, having previously worked as deputy head of HR for the Peverel Group, as well as undertaking a variety of generalist HR business partner, specialist and projects roles for the company. In addition, she has considerable knowledge of acquisitions, mergers, organisational transformation and developing business growth.

Swegon UK Group has appointed Beth Young as human resource and safety, health, environment and quality (HR & SHEQ) director. 

Ms Young has extensive experience, having previously worked as deputy head of HR for the Peverel Group, as well as undertaking a variety of generalist HR business partner, specialist and projects roles for the company. In addition, she has considerable knowledge of acquisitions, mergers, organisational transformation and developing business growth.

The role has a broad remit and she is covering all aspects of HR, internal communications and SHEQ for the UK group of companies. She has been tasked with raising the profile of Swegon UK and attracting, retaining and developing key talent, particularly in sales and engineering. She will also create a strong culture of collaboration, ownership and commercial focus to ensure Swegon UK has robust processes and continues to maintain high quality standards and compliance.
