Mitsubishi Electric’s range of Zen indoor air conditioning units has received global recognition for its stylish design, with the awarding of the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.

The international award highlights products and companies that deliver outstanding design and the judges commented that the Zen range: “presents a convincing symbiosis of energy-saving technology and minimalist, elegant design”.

The Zen Series is a wall mounted system that blends energy efficiency and quiet, controllable comfort, with a sophisticated, streamlined design.

Mitsubishi Electric says it is also the only air conditioning unit to be acknowledged by the Noise Abatement Society, which has awarded the whisper-quiet units the prestigious Quiet Mark.

With a powerful, energy efficient performance, Zen units are specifically designed to complement modern interior décor and suitable for a wide range of applications.

Available in three stylish colours, Zen fits perfectly into any modern interior. The streamlined and distinctively styled wall units are equipped with fine silver bevelled edges that exude sophistication and quality.

The compact dimensions, outstanding performance, and Wi-Fi enabled controls also ensure that they combine space saving application with energy efficiency.

The range is fully compatible with the M Series range of MXZ multi-split systems, allowing up to eight Zen units to be connected to a single outdoor compressor, saving on pipework and installation time.

Zen is also compatible with the City Multi range when used in conjunction with a PAC-LV11M kit or the PAC-MK-BC branch boxes. The Zen is also ideal for situations involving R22 replace.
