The Glasgow-based company took both the Contractor of the Year Award (for companies with a turnover over £10m) and the Environmental Initiative Award for its work with CO2. Space Airconditioning was another double winner, taking the Product Distributor of the Year Awards and also landing the Marketing Initiative Award for its attempts to raise public awareness of the benefits of air conditioning at the Ideal Home Show.

Over 400 guests from all areas of the refrigeration and air conditioning industry packed the ICC to applaud this year's winners. This year's guest presenter was tv and radio comedian and writer Tony Hawks. The author of the best-selling book Round Ireland with a Fridge, he treated the audience to a hilarious routine before announcing the winners.

The Genesis compressor took the Refrigeration Product of the Year Award for Arctic Circle, while Ebm-Papst took the Air Conditioning Product award for its EC fans and motors.
Completing a hat-trick of wins was MBA Consulting Engineers, who once again stepped up to receive the Consultant of the Year award.
