Stand-up comedian Rhys James set to present the ACR News Awards

The ACR News Awards team is delighted to announce stand-up comedian Rhys James as the host of the 2023 ACR News Awards and networking dinner, taking place at the Park Plaza London Riverbank on 19 April.

With charm, puns and even poetry, Mr James looks at his life and the world around him. As well as his own Radio 4 series he’s appeared on numerous TV shows such as Mock the Week, Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central, Virtually Famous and Sweat the Small Stuff. He has also hosted a number of podcasts, and in 2022, he started hosting Fit & Proper alongside Lloyd Griffith - a podcast which sees a weekly guest hypothetically rebuilding a football club of their choosing.

As is customary at the ACR News Awards event, we can guarantee guests a fantastic evening of fine food, fabulous hospitality and memorable entertainment all in honour of celebrating the air conditioning and refrigeration industry’s greatest achievers.

We look forward to welcoming you all for another night to remember!
