Staff evacuate Foster Refrigerator factory

TEN staff members had to be evacuated from Foster Refrigerator's factory, after a fire broke out at the King's Lynn site.
Fire crews from Norfolk Fire and Rescue service arrived to tackle the fire at 6.40pm on March 17.

Employees were evacuated from the commercial fridge-maker's factory when smoke began entering the building.

Firefighters worked to control the fire outside the factory building until 8.15pm. The source of the fire was a rubbish compactor.

A spokesman for Foster Refrigerator said:'Production did not stop. Staff were evacuated but noone was injured'.
