PARKER Hannifin is relocating all its UK refrigeration and air conditioning activities - Parker, Sporlan and Virginia KMP - to the Virginia KMP site in Brampton, Barnsley.
The former Acal acr division - the Sporlan distributor in the UK - will carry out its move north from its offices in Hampshire this month. As a result, the offices will be effectively closed from Friday December 15 to January 2.

Although the staff will still be able to respond to telephone calls during that time they will not be able to process any orders or despatch goods. It is expected to reopen for business in Brampton on January 2.

From that date, all contact to the company will be via the original Virginia KMP numbers, ie 01226 273 400 or fax: 01226 273 401. Email addresses are unaffected.

The move follows Parker's announcement in September of the integration of its sales team following the acquisitions of Herl, Kenmore (Virginia KMP), Sporlan Valve and, most recently the acr division of Acal.
