SIMON Rowe, for many years European sales manager at Hitachi and, more recently, Daikin, is now heading up a new European air conditioning sales team for Samsung.
In addition to Simon Rowe, the new six-man team based at Samsung's European head office at Chertsey, Surrey, comprises Andrew Ku (senior manager), Jake Choi (sales and engineering manager) Erwin Schapers (technical engineering manager), Paul Collins (technical support engineer) and Harold de Vries (marketing co-ordinator).
Aware that the team's immediate task is to win an increased market share, Simon Rowe says: 'We are fortunate to have assembled a team of enthusiastic people who have extensive experience of the air conditioning industry and Samsung systems in particular.'
The new team will work alongside the UK air conditioning team, headed by national sales manager, Jonathan Pettitt.
