Show debut for revolutionary pipe connection system

A NEW aluminium tube connection system has been introduced by Reflok at the ACR Show.
The brainchild of Gloucestershire-based air conditioning and refrigeration manufacturers JSC, The Reflok connector is made of steel and uses aerospace technology to connect and seal aluminium pipe. More importantly, the connector needs no hot works, using a special high pressure hydraulic tool.

The Reflok connection will withstand pressures up to 100bar, needs no purging and there is no risk of system contamination.

The system is being made available in the UK through nationwide wholesaler FSW. Mark Henderson, FSW's commercial director Mark Henderson said 'We are genuinely excited about Reflok, especially because it offers the potential of cost savings in tough times as well as environmental benefits.'

The Reflok aluminium system has been successfully trialled in the USA over the last 18 months and has already gained industry approval from the independent testing house ETL to US standard UL207.

More details and pictures at www.reflok.com or, even better drop into the ACR Show and see a live demonstration of the system on stand J21.
