Samsung strengthens UK heating team

Samsung Climate Solutions has added five new team members to the heating division, supporting the growing heat pump market.

Joe Raftery and Jose Leite.

Liam Rodda has been appointed Northern business development manager. With well over 15 years of experience, Mr Rodda is enthusiastic about joining Samsung at a crucial time of growth where the heat pump market is set to skyrocket in the UK’s bid to be ‘net zero’ by 2050.

Stuart Bell joins the team as Southern business development manager. Mr Bell has been in the industry for over 13 years, with his new role working on promoting and selling residential heat pump related product lines to installers and specification clients in the south of England. Commenting on his move, he said: “I am thrilled to be working in an environment where customer centricity means exactly that.”

Stuart Leivers has been a refrigeration service engineer for over 25 years and is looking forward to joining the Samsung team specifically working with air source heat pumps. He joins Samsung as an SVC Engineer.

Also joining Samsung’s established team are former heating engineer Joe Raftery as product manager and Jose Leite as pre-sales engineer.

Speaking on the latest appointments, Steve Fleming, head of air conditioning commented: “At Samsung, we heavily invest in all our staff to provide the right level of customer support across the whole business. This additional headcount recognises the significant opportunity within the heat pump sector in the UK and will provide a base for further sales development.”
