Samsung recalls 32,000 fridges in China

SAMSUNG has added China to the list of countries subject to a product 'recall' of its domestic refrigerators.
The news follows the announcement of similar 'recalls' on Samsung fridges in Europe and Korea at the end of October after two models exploded in separate incidents in Korea and West Bromwich.

The Chinese recall, announced on November 6, involves 32,000 refrigerators across six models of Samsung's double-door units.

While the product model which caused the incident in South Korea is not sold in China, the Chinese fridges are said to have a similar design and construction.
