Samsung appoints new marketing manager

Samsung has further expanded its growing climate solutions team, appointing Jon Brigly as marketing manager for the climate solutions division who will be looking after the heating and cooling campaigns.

Mr Brigly joins Samsung from Philips, where he worked for the health systems team as marketing manager for the MRI and CT product portfolios. Prior to that, he worked at BOC for 11 years, in various marketing roles mainly across the welding and industrial gas sectors, where he was responsible for campaigns, new product launches, promotions and advertising.

Commenting on his move to Samsung, Mr Brigly said: “It’s an exciting time to be joining Samsung, they are an incredibly ambitious team with market leading products and I’m really looking forward to being a part of it. I see many opportunities for growth in the industry for Samsung this year; product innovation like the Wind-Free technology can be a real game changer in terms of climate experience and energy efficiency.”

Steve Fleming, head of air conditioning added: “At Samsung, we continue to invest heavily in our staff and we are delighted to welcome Jon to our team. Jon’s addition is part of our continued drive to  provide the best possible customer service, particularly in these uniquely challenging times.  Jon’s expertise compliments our recent arrivals, and will make Samsung Climate Solutions the strongest it can possibly be to assist our customers in facing the current industry challenges.”
