Samsung adds two more distributors
[firstParagraph]
SAMSUNG has added Derbyshire-based Logicool and Surrey-based Ultimate Air to its expanding UK distribution network.
This brings the Samsung network to eight distributors with a total of more than 20 branches.
'The UK air conditioning market is poised for strong growth and Samsung will be well-placed with distributors and systems to provide efficient, reliable solutions for a significant share of the market,' commented Jonathan Pettitt, Samsung national sales manager for air conditioning at a recent customer go-karting day organised in conjunction with Ultimate Air.
Ultimate Air md Jon Shoveller, whose company also distributes Fujitsu equipment, revealed that within weeks of the firm's appointment it had delivered a big DVM Plus III order for an installation in West London.
Adding his comments on the deal, Logicool md Karl Richardson said: 'After an in depth look at potential brands to add to our portfolio, choosing Samsung was simple - it was the only brand growing in the recession, as we were doing. We have been running 19 months and have been profitable since day one, thus bucking the current economic trend.'
Logicool is also a distributor of Hitachi equipment.
