LEADING food retailers will reveal their latest plans for reducing the environmental impact of stores at the forthcoming Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Show 2012, which takes place in Hall 19 at the NEC from 13 to 15 March.
Representatives of Marks & Spencer, John Lewis Partnership and The Co-operative Group will set out their plans for sustainable solutions for the energy-intensive food and buildings sides of their businesses.
The companies will give an update on new approaches and developments in technology for refrigeration, air conditioning, heating and overall energy management systems across their stores and nationwide estates.
Robert Arthur of Marks & Spencer will also give a presentation on an important new agreement signed by the major supermarkets designed to ensure the environmental impact of their refrigeration systems is minimised.
