Restructure at AMS Technologies

In a move to drive growth, AMS Technologies has appointed Klaus Maier to the newly-created role of vice president, sales.

Through creating the position of vice president, sales, AMS chief executive Jan Meise has positioned the company to achieve continued substantial growth.

He stated: “Starting immediately, Klaus Maier will be coordinating the extensive sales activities of our large, international sales team, distributed over seven locations. 

“With his many years of sales expertise, his solid background in our core competencies and his career history at AMS, Maier will have an important and immediate impact.”

Oliver Schabel will be taking on the challenges of Maier’s previous position as regional sales director, Central Europe. Mr Schabel has a track record of demonstrable success in a number of sales positions, mainly in the area of sensor technology. At AMS, he will now be responsible for the sales team working with Central European customers.

The sales activities in AMS Technologies' Scandinavian branch are also under new management. In the Stockholm office, Anders Wenell has been appointed as the new regional sales director for the Nordics. An experienced sales professional, he will dedicate a substantial proportion of his activities to increasing AMS Technologies’ success in delivering customer-specific solutions.
