Parts Town, a leader in foodservice equipment parts distribution, has acquired the REPA Group, a European leader in parts distribution, to strengthen their global parts distribution capabilities. This combination will further enhance the availability, delivery, and overall experience of finding and buying spare parts for service companies, restaurants and other commercial kitchens around the world.
Steve Snower will be the chief executive of the combined business. Alexander Wiegand will continue to lead the REPA Group businesses, working closely with Mr Snower and Martin Rohde, president of Parts Town International. Jonathan Booth and John Whitehouse will continue to lead CCS and First Choice in the UK.
Mr Snower stated: “We are very excited to welcome the REPA Group to the PT Holdings family. The REPA team is exceptional, and they have built an incredible business. This combination accelerates our global capabilities for the benefit of our customers and partners. PT Holdings will benefit greatly from REPA’s in-depth local market knowledge and their logistical expertise across Europe. Alex and his team are outstanding, and we look forward to driving future global growth together.”
Mr Whitehouse said: “We are delighted to announce this exciting new chapter. Although we will continue to operate independently, it will allow us to draw on the strengths of both organisations and focus on a higher level of service to our customers and supplier relationships. Over time, we will share best practices through accelerated technology and innovation, to deliver the benefits to our customers, suppliers, and manufacturer partnerships.'
This combination will create a new organisation with significant operations in the US, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, the UK, Spain, Russia and other areas of the world.
REPA joins the parts distribution arm of PT Holdings and the Red Lightning Group, that is focused solely on innovation and technology to support the food industry and beyond.
