More than 100 guests travelled to central Switzerland to mark 45 years of continued success for Refco, which the company credits to its customer-focussed solutions, certified quality and international approval.

Established in 1972, the Swiss supplier of refrigeration service products and components has since expanded significantly and now distributes worldwide, with more than 95 percent of its total sales being exported. 

Having built lasting relationships with businesses across over 80 countries, Refco is a market leader in Europe and a significant supplier in Asia.

The highlight of the event, held in Lucerne on 15 September, was a gala dinner at the Hotel Schweizerhof, attended by Refco's customers and business partners alongside 70 of the company's employees. 

Refco's chief executive, Manfred P. Ulrich, noted the business's strong finanical performance and revealed optimistic plans for the future, with a focus on expansion into new markets, the development of new, high quality products, and the continued provision of outstanding service.

To support these plans, and to facilitate growth in new markets in particular, Refco anticipates an increase in resources at senior management level. 

During the event, guests were also invited to visit the company's headquarters to gain an insight into the manufacturing process and see brand new products, including Refco's condensate pumps and wireless pressure and temperature set, TAP.

With a demonstrated history of providing high quality service and products, Refco looks forward to building on relationships with its business partners and customers.
