Placing efficiency at its core, the new, fourth generation range of air-cooled chillers is at the very forefront of cooling technology and specially designed for use in industrial applications, taking on the mantle from its best-selling and industry-leading TAEevo predeccessor in a bid to build on its reputation for reliability and to further the gap at the front of the field between itself and alternative offerings on the market.
With capacities starting at 1.4kW and ranging right up to 176kW, the i-Chiller promises a more flexible approach to economic process cooling for a wider array of applications – without ever having to compromise on reliability or outright power. Providing greater variability than its predecessor, the range features two new versions, offering high efficiency (HE) and dual frequency variations to suit all requirements. The new range also includes a high pressure axial fan and an oversized hydraulic tank as standard, enabling the chiller to compensate for any imbalances caused by changes in load demand whilst in operation.
Ringing in a new era of industrial cooling

Supporting the R22 phase out, one process at a time…
In support of the European Union’s legislation regarding the phase out of environmentally unfriendly R22 gas, the i-Chiller range predominantly utilises more sustainable R410A refrigerant, with R470C and R134a gases used within the smaller capacity models. As well as being a more credibly sustainable alternative, the new range’s predominant reliance on the R410A refrigerant allows the i-Chiller to function with vastly improved performance at a reduced level of power consumption - a pioneeringly positive attribute when considering the typical use and longevity of cooling systems and the potential energy and cost reductions achievable as a result.
