COMPRESSOR remanufacturer the Preston Group has become the sole distributor in several European countries for the full range of Spanish manufacturer Gelfred's Gelpha range of semi-hermetic compressors, spare parts, ancillary equipment and condensing units. To support the range in the UK, the Preston Group has appointed Climate Center as sole UK distributor for Gelfred compressors.
In addition to the UK, Preston's deal with Gelfred covers distribution in Germany, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium and Italy. They have also been granted sole distributorship for South Africa.

This new deal is part of an ambitious expansion of Preston's activities into Europe and Africa.

Jackie Ridge, the Preston Group's European director of remanufacturing, said 'This exclusivity deal as sole distributor enhances our remanufacturing operations and our plans for the future of the business. We can now offer customers in Europe and South Africa a very high quality range of new compressors and condensing units as either replacements or for new installations.'

Eric Spencer, sales manager, Preston Group said: ' We are very excited about the prospects we have to develop the Gelpha product range through our network In addition; the diversity of the product range will give our customers every opportunity to purchase and specify compressors and condensing units at competitive rates. We are also delighted with our agreement with Climate Center, which was approved at the IKK exhibition. We will get unique and immediate coverage through their network of branches in the UK.'
