Powrmatic to sell Midea equipment in the UK

POWRMATIC, an Ilminster company best known for its heating and ventilating products, is to enter the UK air conditioning market with a range of Midea commercial air conditioning products.
Driving the new venture is Paul Greenhough, best known for his time as md of air conditioning distributor EHS (International) and more recently a director at Premiair Appliances. Paul, who takes the role of product manager ac products, brings with him over 12 years' experience of Midea products.

Powrmatic has previously been selling Midea equipment through its sister company Powrmatic Canada.

'We are delighted to be partnering Midea in this exciting project for both our companies,' commented Powrmatic md Phil Brompton. 'The extensive range of Midea commercial air conditioning products will enhance our portfolio offering customers a high quality competitive alternative product.

'We are confident that with this excellent product range and the experience Paul brings to us, Powrmatic will make a lasting impression on the UK air conditioning market place for years to come.'

The range of high wall splits, cassettes, ceiling floor, and multi splits are due to be launched at the ACR show at the NEC from March 13-15.
