He joins the business today (19 January), to allow a handover period with Lee Jon Newman, who is leaving Wolseley UK at the end of February to take up a chief operating officer role in a different sector.
Mr Wighton first joined Wolseley in 2003 and during his time with Wolseley UK was a member of the Plumbing and Heating businesses leadership team in his role as finance director.
