SAMSUNG has appointed Jon Pettitt as its national sales manager for air conditioning.
Having spent 10 years at York International, followed by Johnson Controls after it bought York, Pettitt has worked as UK unitary manager in charge of split systems, air handling units, chillers up to 150kW and rooftops.
'Despite the current economic conditions, we see massive potential in the UK market both in the immediate and long-term future,” said a spokesman for Samsung.
“We are delighted to have secured the services of such an experienced air conditioning specialist to spearhead our ambitious expansion plans,” he added.
