Paul Eagle appointed as new chair of BESA technical committee

The Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) has appointed Paul Eagle, executive board technical director at BESA member company Dalkia UK, as the new chair of its technical committee. He succeeds Kevin Morrissey, who was recently appointed BESA’s new director of technical.

Eagle brings over 25 years of experience in the building services sector, having held senior engineering and technical leadership roles across the industry. In addition to his current position at Dalkia, Eagle is a chartered manager and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMgr FCMI), and a member of both the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (MCIBSE) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET). His in-depth technical expertise and passion for raising industry standards make him a suitable leader for the committee during this period of rapid regulatory and technological change.

Reflecting on his time as chair and welcoming his successor, Morrissey said: “Serving as chair of the BESA technical committee has been a rewarding experience, and I am confident that Paul Eagle’s leadership will further enhance our technical initiatives. His deep industry knowledge and dedication to excellence will undoubtedly benefit BESA and its members.”

Eagle commented: “I am honoured to take on the role of Chair of the BESA Technical Committee. Building upon the solid foundation established by Kevin, I look forward to collaborating with industry professionals to drive innovation, uphold high standards, and address the evolving challenges in building engineering services.”
