Pastorfrigor GB sponsors WRD

World Refrigeration Day is an international awareness campaign to raise the profile of the refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat-pump sector and focuses attention on the significant role that the industry and its technology play in modern life today.

To celebrate World Refrigeration Day, Pastorfrigor GB, along with a huge number of suppliers to the industry, is sponsoring the event and celebrating all that refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat-pump sector do throughout the world.

Pastorfrigor GB managing director, Simon Robinson said: “World Refrigeration Day is a not for profit organisation with all profits going back into supporting the refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat-pump industry. In only its second year, last year was a huge success with a great amount of online activity, over 800 physical events taking place in over 153 countries.

“During the pandemic, it is really important to raise awareness and understanding of the significant role that the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry, and the associated science and technology, play in modern life and society in a safe and responsible manner that is fully compliant with local regulations and aligned to all safety measures.”
