Parker buys Carrier's refrigeration controls subsidiary

PARKER Hannifin has acquired the Carrier-owned Canadian supermarket refrigeration controls manufacturer Micro Thermo Technologies.
Based in Quebec, Micro Thermo Technologies had sales of around $10m in 2009 and employs approximately 50 people. The company will be integrated into the Electronics business unit of Parker's Sporlan Division.
Established in 1986, Micro Thermo was acquired by Carrier in 2001.
