Parker and RDM agree global partnership for stepper control solution

The partnership ensures that customers can purchase a solution that is highly cost effective, with premium products that have been created by industry leaders in their respective fields, drawing on the distinct strengths of each company. Parker’s skill in manufacturing premium valves for use in hydraulic, pneumatic, instrumentation, refrigeration and aerospace applications, fused with RDM's design innovations will allow companies to achieve new levels of efficiency, effectiveness and customer satisfaction, the companies say.

RDM and Parker (Parker Hannifin Corp) have announced an exclusive partnership to deliver a flexible stepper valve control solution for the retail sector.

The new collaboration aims to redefine stepper control. Parker is a world leading manufacturer of highly engineered components and systems that facilitate motion and the controlled flow of liquids and gasses for a wide variety of global markets, to increase the productivity and profitability of its customers. Meanwhile, RDM is an expert in designing and manufacturing a wide range of controls for HVACR solutions and a leader in control and remote monitoring, providing energy management solutions that deliver cost savings from 10% to over 50% for some of the world’s leading retail brands.

Experiencing rapid growth globally RDM recognised that to offer the best solution to its customers, a strategic partnership with a company such as Parker was the best approach. RDM says that sharing a similar ethos with customer needs placed right at the heart of the business, Parker’s focus for solving some of the world’s greatest engineering challenges fits perfectly with RDM’s passion for designing products that break away from the industry standard, helping customers to achieve goals with minimal investment.
