Panasonic’s Enrique Vilamitjana elected to EHPA board of directors

Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions Europe is pleased to announce its Managing Director, Enrique Vilamitjana, has been elected to the European Heat Pump Association’s (EHPA) Board of Directors, joining 15 new members across the industry.

With over 27 years’ experience in the heating and cooling industry, Mr Vilamitjana brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the EHPA Board. Sharing a common goal, both Panasonic and EHPA are forward-thinking organisations striving towards the decarbonisation of society through the use of renewable, sustainable, and smart energy systems.

“I am delighted to be joining the board of directors at EHPA to help raise awareness and promote the use of innovative heat pump technologies,” commented Mr Vilamitjana. “At Panasonic, we pride ourselves on working towards the decarbonisation of heating and I’m sure that working with the EHPA we can really make a difference.”

Representing most of the European heat pump industry, EHPA members are heat pump and component manufacturers, research institutes, universities, testing labs and energy agencies. Its key goal is to promote awareness and proper deployment of heat pump technology in the European market for residential, commercial and industrial applications. EHPA aims to provide technical and economic input to European, national, and local authorities in legislative, regulatory and energy efficiency matters.
