The move follows a series of commercial product developments showcased by Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions Europe at ISH/MCE 2026, underlining the company’s long-term focus on sustainable, high-performance and digitally connected HVAC systems for commercial buildings.
Matt Edney joins as Specification Sales Engineer for the South East, bringing more than 20 years’ experience in technical sales, HVAC specification and commercial building services. His background spans senior roles in water treatment, building solutions and commercial heating, with a strong record of working with M&E consultants on large-scale projects. He will support early design engagement and CPD activity in the region.
Daniel Tierney, previously with Baxi Commercial, adds further design-side insight through his experience as a public health engineer. His understanding of consultant workflows, BIM processes and compliance requirements will support concept-stage HVAC strategy development, helping translate Panasonic’s commercial range into efficient, compliant system designs.
Danny Rimmer joins the team with an engineering-led background across design, specification and project delivery in sustainable cooling and refrigeration. Holding a degree in Building Services and Sustainable Engineering, he brings detailed system knowledge and practical project experience to support low-carbon, future-ready HVAC solutions across the North of the UK.
With the expanded team, Panasonic can provide locally informed, technically focused support throughout the design and specification process, helping consultants specify systems aligned with performance, efficiency, and decarbonisation objectives.
