DuPont has announced a 15% price rise for R22, a 20% price rise for ISCEON 9 series, a 4% price rise for R134 and is putting up the price of its blends by 9%.
Dupont said for the UK, the price rise for ISCEON 9 Series refrigerants will be 20% 'due to currency impacts' - 10% more than the rest of EMEA.

The global refrigerants supplier is raising the price of its refrigerants in Europe, Middle East and Africa from October 15.

'Our business has been working diligently to offset unprecedented cost increases in raw materials and transportation costs,' said Gonzalo Alonso, sales manager DuPont Refrigerants EMEA.

He added 'However, the magnitude of these increases makes a further round of price increases for our products inevitable.'
