Ms Simpson was born in Wandsworth, London, but in her early twenties moved to Manchester to work for Refrigerator Components. In 2002, the business was acquired by Thermofrost Cryo and Ms Simpson continued to work there, for the majority of the time as branch manager.

During her time at RCL/Thermofrost, Ms Simpson built a solid reputation for customer service, coupled with a sound technical knowledge gained in over 40 years of experience in the RAC industry. This combination brought her a large following of loyal customers who appreciated her conscientiousness, hard work and down-to-earth style.

Ms Simpson will be very much missed by colleagues, customers and suppliers alike.
