Now shareholders target Whirlpool

FOLLOWING the announcement last week that Embraco has agreed to pay $91.8m for its part in an international compressor price-fixing cartel, shareholders of its US parent Whirlpool are reported to have hired lawyers private firm to investigate whether the company was negligent.
Kendall Law, a US a national securities firm led by a former federal judge with attorneys that include a former US Attorney, has been called in to investigate after Whirlpool said the fine would result in a $1.20 per share charge.
