Now Hitachi attacks the heating market

HITACHI has joined fellow air conditioning manufac
The new AquaFree comprises a Hitachi DC inverter heat pump outdoor unit and a water module indoor unit. It is said to be able to provide efficient water heating for a variety of applications including low temperature radiators, under floor heating and swimming pools. It also has the added feature of offering partial cooling.

The product will be unveiled at next month's RAC Show but preliminary details suggest that the AquaFree will have a large operating range, providing heating in outdoor temperatures ranging between -20° and 20°C and partial cooling in outdoor temperatures of between 20° and 48°C.

Like its rivals, AquaFree will offer considerable reductions in running costs when compared to traditional boiler systems and standard electrical water heaters.
