The partnership marks a significant expansion of NIBE’s distribution network in Scotland, aimed at improving access to sustainable heating solutions and strengthening local support for installers and homeowners. Products will be held at William Wilson’s Cumbernauld and Inverness distribution centres, enabling 24–48 hour delivery and reducing lead times. The arrangement also supports urgent replacement needs, ensuring installers can respond quickly to distressed purchases and provide a smoother experience at the point of delivery.

Paul Smith, Managing Director of NIBE Energy Systems (UK), described the collaboration as a milestone in the company’s commitment to Scotland, highlighting the role of trusted merchants in making sustainable heating technologies more accessible. Steven Hay, Managing Director of William Wilson, emphasised that the partnership aligns with the company’s mission to deliver reliable heating solutions in a changing energy landscape.

NIBE’s presence in Scotland continues to grow through partnerships with housing associations, new-build developers, and retrofit initiatives, reinforcing its contribution to Scotland’s net-zero targets. From January 2026, installers will be able to order NIBE products directly through all William Wilson branches, with stock available for rapid delivery from the two distribution centres.
