NHBC predicts upturn in domestic ac

THE National House-Building Council (NHBC) predicts that more domestic homes will be turning to air conditioning as the climate warms up.
The NHBC report has claimed that warmer summers over recent years have resulted in an increasing popularity of masonry homes to keep owners cool.

However, as the climate becomes warmer and British summers get hotter - and longer - simple masonry techniques are unlikely to keep Britons cool.

Instead, they will have to turn to air conditioning units to beat the heat, meaning the UK will have to work out ways to improve its electricity distribution.
