Aermec UK, a leading manufacturer of chillers, fan coils and heat pumps, has appointed Paul Lawrence as its managing director.

Paul Lawrence, managing director of Aermec UK.

Mr Lawrence has replaced the firm’s previous managing director Rex Murden, who has retired after having spent over 30 years in the industry.

Tasked with growing the company organically, Mr Lawrence will be developing the business’s product offering and proactively entering new markets, while ensuring that Aermec continues to deliver quality products combined with excellent customer service.

With over 18 years’ experience in the HVAC industry, Mr Lawrence has held a number of senior positions in engineering, manufacturing operations, sales and marketing management.

He was most recently Aermec’s sales and service director, responsible for profit and loss (P&L) on the capital side and service side of Aermec UK’s business and a key part of the UK leadership team.

Mr Lawrence commented: “Aermec has a strong reputation for delivering robust engineered solutions. Our highly skilled engineers combine innovation and value-added benefits that help maximise efficiencies, from commercial buildings to high density mission critical computing facilities.

“I am looking forward to developing our customer base, driving new product development and growing the business.”
