New appointment at Coolair

Air conditioning installation specialist, Coolair Equipment, has boosted its growing operation in Kent with the appointment of Matthew Gower as sales and design engineer.

Located at the Maidstone office of the Manchester-based company, former apprentice Mr Gower has more than 20 years’ experience in the mechanical services industry across the South East.

He was previously a mechanical projects manager for a Kent-based commercial plumbing, heating, air conditioning and solar installations contractor.

Mr Gower’s project credits include managing installations for Tonbridge School’s new science block extension, Brook House Primary School in Tottenham, the Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) department at Charing Cross Hospital, and Evelina London Children’s Hospital.

Fully qualified in energy efficient refrigeration, air conditioning, heating and domestic hot water systems, Mr Gower is already tendering for three projects with a total value of more than £1 million.

Mark Garstang, regional director of Coolair Equipment, which also has an office in Cannock, said: “Matthew’s experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow our successful client base and strengthen our capacity for project design and tendering.”
