Neil Roberts announced as BRA President

Neil Roberts, senior technical sales manager at Climalife, has been appointed President of the British Refrigeration Association (BRA) taking over the role from past-president Mark Hughes.

With over 30 years’ experience in the refrigeration industry, Roberts joined Climalife in 2021 and is determined to continue to support the industry through the next phase of transition to very low GWP refrigerants and moving towards a sustainable future.

Roberts said: “With the F-Gas regulation under review, there is no doubt the next few years are critical for the refrigeration industry, and it is vital that as an association, we are at the forefront of everything that is going on. I intend to build on my predecessors’ good work and continue to make the BRA a strong voice for the industry, bringing value to all the membership.”

Hughes expressed his congratulations saying: “I would like to warmly welcome Neil to the role of President. His wealth of industry knowledge and experience will be instrumental in helping the BRA navigate the fast-changing refrigerant sector and keep the association at the forefront of the movement towards low emissions solutions.”
