Since the acquisition of Technowaste by the Coolrec Group in June 2005, we have been consolidating business processes within the group.
Over the last twelve months we have:
Commissioned a new CRT processing line
Introduced an additional mode in our fridge plant to recover gas and oil from Hydrocarbon fridges (Pentane)
Installed a secure depollution and disassembly area for end of life IT assets.
Gained accreditation to ISO9001 & 14001 standards, on June 5th 2007
Gained approval to operate as an Approved Authorised Treatment Facility (AATF) under the WEEE regulations, on June 19th 2007
The latest stage of this integration is to re-brand ourselves inline with the rest of the business units in the group. To that end as of June 25th we will be known as Coolrec UK ltd.
We believe this is a significant step in further aligning our business unit with the total solution offering of the Coolrec group, thus establishing Coolrec as a leading player of WEEE compliant treatment on a Pan European basis.
The Coolrec group is a business unit of 'AVR Van Gansewinkel, a £1.5 billion revenue integrated waste management business employing 6,000 people and offering a 'one stop' solution for waste management issues.
Coolrec now has eight facilities in Europe offering WEEE compliant services, including three specialist business units focussed on the reprocessing of Plastics, Gas discharge lamps, Ink and Toner Cartridge.
We would ask you to please update your records to reflect the name change and advise your accounts payable to make all future payments to Coolrec UK ltd. We thank you in advance for your co-operation and should you require any further information or clarification on any point, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Yours Sincerely,
David Sutcliffe
