Munters buys Belgian firm for £7.7m Euros

MUNTERS, the US humidity specialist has agreed to purchase Belgium-based commercial air-conditioning manufacturer Toussaint Nyssenne.
Toussaint Nyssenne employs around 150 people and had 2007 revenues of 17 million Euros.

Munters CEO Lars Engström said: “In line with Munters strategic growth plan, the acquisition of Toussaint Nyssenne enables us to accelerate our growth in energy efficient air treatment solutions in Europe.”

In particular Munters aims to grow its sales of Munters Drycool/HCU technology in Europe, a product which is already a hit in North America.
