THE COOLEST comedian on Mock The Week, the satirical comedy show, will step from the BBC2's tv studio to join acr professionals at the ACR News Awards stage this February.
Hugh Dennis, the shoulder-shaking comic genius shown improvising on tv every Thursday night will be entertaining the great and the good from the acr industry at the awards ceremony on February 25, at Birmingham's National Motorcycle Museum.
The comedian, writer and actor, began his stage career as one half of the duo Punt & Dennis. They still appear together on the Now Show.
Hugh currrently captains his team on satirical tv show Mock the Week and stars in Outnumbered, the hilarious BBC sitcom.
After working as a brand manager for Unilever for six years, Hugh found his future was in humour and put his talent for impressions to use by providing voices for Spitting Image.
Hugh then became a regular on the Jasper Carott Show and joined the ground-breaking team on The Mary Whitehouse Experience.
After the original Radio 1 show received a Sony Award, Hugh and the team moved to television and attracted a huge cult following.
Punt & Dennis appeared in several series of their own, including Punt & Dennis Show, Me, You and Him.
