MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC has signed a three-year deal with air conditioning supplier PACAIR following its success as a Value Added Reseller (VAR) of the manufacturer’s air conditioning products.
As a VAR, PACAIR supplies air conditioning and environmental control equipment to customers in the commercial, leisure, retail and residential sectors.
“PACAIR has demonstrated its strength as one of the UK’s leading independent providers in the design and application of air conditioning solutions that matches the high standards that we demand,” said Deane Flint, Mitsubishi Electric’s sales director.
The deal with Hemel Hempstead-based firm PACAIR is a non-exclusive agreement, with the company also retaining its role as an approved sales channel for the Toshiba brand.
Nigel Palmer, who founded PACAIR in 2003, said
“We still see the two brands complementing each other in the PACAIR portfolio, but we see the potential for significant growth of the Mitsubishi Electric side of our business as more and more consultants and customers reflect on the environmental leadership that the Mitsubishi Electric brand has taken.”
